EVENTS IN & AROUND THE SOMERSET AREA

Somernites Cruise

• Somernites Cruise is held in historic Somerset, Kentucky, on the 4th Saturday of the month, from 12pm-6pm every April through October. Events are held on Thursday night and Friday of cruise weekends, too! ADMISSION IS ALWAYS FREE!

Somernites' main attraction, the Saturday Show & Shine, is a non-judged event, open to all customs, classics, muscle cars and highly modified late models. On the blocked off streets of downtown Somerset, you can show off your classic, meet other enthusiasts and admire the amazing cars on display. We encourage you to bring a lawn chair and sit along the street to watch 1000+ show cars and trucks as they enter downtown. All entrance gates open at 12:00pm and the Show & Shine portion of the event concludes at 6:00pm. Cruisin' the Strip begins at 6:00pm.

Foodstock Festival 

SATURDAY, MAY 10, 2025
11am — 8pm

A day of food, music, and art at the sixth Foodstock Festival in downtown Somerset, KY! Foodstock features food trucks from across the state, spirit, and beverage vendors, live art creation, and lots of fun music and activities for families.
